At long last
Aaah... My last day on this project... I finished Chop Socky a while back but for the last month of my contract I've been doing art design for another show. But today's my last day... so I'm just screwing around lol. I'm done with whatever needs to be done... So I drew a quick dragon sketch this morning... Right before going out for a 3 hour lunch.
Some colleagues and I are thinking of going to Dangerous Dan's Diner in order to get the quadruple C course. Check it out on the menu. That thing actually scares me! I could do with the massive burger but I don't know about the poutine, milkshake and deepfried Mars bar...
If I don't update for one month, that means I'm dead...

*Cough*Hack*Cough*
Uugh... I can't believe I caught a cold. It's 20+ outside but that's no excuse for malls and shops to blast the AC... ugh.
Anyway, contrary to what I had thought, they're keeping me pretty busy at work. Since I haven't had time to do anything, here's an old drawing of TOP2 I did a few months ago. Terminator Nono lol. T7

Rough Patches
I had some trouble with my domain so if you were redirected to some commercial website sometime yesterday, I'm sorry... lol
Won't happen again!
Well... like I said before, Chop Socky's over (at least season 1 is) so I'm just helping out around the studio doing design work for one of the shows.
I'm using a 21UX Cintiq. I still really like my tablet... I'd say it's on par but I'm also considering getting one...
which brings me to my point...
Bread is up 50%, times are hard, cintiqs are getting expensive... So it looks like I'm probably going to open up commissions for a while. I'll have limited slots so check out further updates.

Work is done, doing some 2D
Chop Socky is pretty much done. 1 month ahead of schedule! Which means I'm gonna be helping out around the studio until then (and brushing up my 2D skills at home... with some Dennou Coil)
A friend forwarded me a link to a wonderful video of what the Little Nemo could have been had it been a Japanese/American production involving some of the most renowned artits of the late 80s (and even today)
Those layouts are gorgeous... and that plane and bed are all in 2D! A friend here at work stated that it wouldn't have the impact or feel had it been CG.
